GREG HEFFLEY
Greg's biggest goal is to become rich and famous. And then all of his diaries, uh, his memoirs, will surely tear out of his hands!
Until it's so far, Greg has others to do. Because school is a daily struggle of survival, and getting up in the popularity scale is not an easy task, with all the idiots who jingle around him: nasty students, common teachers, angry girls, annoying parents, annoying brothers.
Greg likes to spend his time indoors - in front of the TV or the computer. He loves video games over everything. Very much to the annoyance of his mom, who wants to persuade him again and again to go to the "fresh air" and do something "useful" or "creative".
RUPERT JEFFERSON
Rupert is Greg's best friend, even if the two are actually quite different. Often Greg just finds him embarrassing. No wonder, who invites his friends to "play" instead of hanging them down?
Together with Greg, Rupert has the comic "Heißa, Mama!" but only Rupert then manages it into the year book on the page with the class-favourites. Rupert loves his Dino Blaster action figures and plays clarinet in the school band. Greg holds Rupert for a pretty fear bunny because he fears himself from rubber worms and wild geese.
Nevertheless, Greg is really happy to have Rupert as a friend. Because who else would play "Twisted Wizard" with him or warn him of poop on the way to school?

RODRICK HEFFLEY
Rodrick is Greg's older brother. He plays drums in a heavy metal band called Folle Vindl. And that only means because Rodrick does not know how to write the name correctly.
Rodrick drives the band's tourbus, celebrating parties and dreams of becoming famous one day with his band. Until it's that far, however, Greg makes life difficult because he loves to play his pranks. Unfortunately, Greg always falls on his communities.
But there are also moments when they hold together as brothers. Or where Greg simply turn the skewer over and put Rodrick in
Manni Heffley
Manni is Greg's younger brother and mom's favourite. No matter what Manni does for nonsense he is rarely punished for this. On the contrary, mostly mom and dad are still proud of him and find everything he does, totally cute. Greg goes pretty on the nerves. And sometimes when mom and dad are not looking at it, he plays a small prank.
Manni is still going to kindergarten, and on holiday he rarely drives without his potty. And that although Mom has been trying to get Manni dry.
SUSAN HEFFLEY
Gregs Mom loves her family very much and does everything so that the others do well. Sometimes she exaggerates it a bit, and then she can become embarrassing. For example, if she brings Greg his lunch or gym bag to school, suddenly without warning when his representative teacher appears or wants to drive him to the coolest Halloween party of the year.
Frank Heffley
Greg's Dad is trying to get his son again and again to do more sports. He makes Greg swim, fires him at football and even gives him a barbell. But he must see every time that Greg is not a sports cannon. Gregs Dad doesn't like spending money and is very happy if he has time in between.
